Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is the treatment that makes Core Physical Therapy stand out from other physical therapy clinics. In the same way a mechanic uses their hands to fix a car, we use our hands to fix your body. Manual therapy is often the missing link that prohibits people from finding success while at more traditional styles of medicine. There are many types of manual therapy and each of them have a specific purpose depending on the desired reaction from a specific body tissue. Some are more specific to nerves, some joints, some muscles etc. For this reason, Core PT does not specialize in any one manual therapy, but instead we are experts at many, so that we have the right tool to help you get healthy again.

Hands-on techniques we use include but are not limited to:  myofascial release, massage, craniosacral therapy, strain-counterstrain, muscle energy technique, joint mobilization, neural tissue tension techniques, neuromuscular techniques, treatment of Chapman's reflexes, deep tissue massage and much more.
