I started my career like most therapists do. I worked in a corporate environment where the treatments were dictated by people who did not know me or the patients that trusted me to treat them. The quality of care was effected poorly by their business policies. In 2001, I solved my situation by starting Core Physical Therapy. I continue to strive to make Core Physical Therapy a place that is the perfect place for therapists to be the best and most effective therapists they can be. For the patients, Core is a place that they can count on for great care by an understanding staff. It is a place that patients get better then they dreamed they could be. We are able to help people with strains and sprains and even make remarkable changes in the lives of people with chronic pain and fibromyalgia. I am proud of what Core has become and am thankful for the patients and staff of Core that have created this phenomenal place. As we enter a new phase of development and research for treatments for diverse conditions such as Autism, Arthritis, and enhanced sports performance I am even more excited then ever to improve on ourselves. |

I decided to join the Core Physical Therapy team because it is not typical of what most physical therapy clinics have become in the current healthcare model; less hands on treatment and less time spent with patients.
I wanted to work in an environment that provides an “outside the box” style of thinking that is not traditionally taught in the physical therapy profession as well as allow me to critically analyze and reason to most effectively treat the source of the problem and not just the symptoms.

Core PT...What an exciting work environment. Where else can you laugh and openly chat with the patients? There’s no stuffy glass to make you feel like you’re in a fishbowl. That’s how I feel working with these wonderful people.
I have known John for seven years, and have had the pleasure of being a part of his staff these past four years. It amazes me to see someone come in suffering and walk out feeling like the treatment actually helped. There is so much healing going on in here …and some of it needs to be contributed to the jukebox.
